Recently, the Lakme Fashion Week 2023 X FDCI wrapped up in the capital which saw showcases by a bunch of ace couturiers showcasing their newest lines, some of which were very appropriate for the wedding season.
The new bride, Parineeti Chopra walked for the label ‘Faabiiana’ and was draped in an embellished saree and cape ensemble from their collection called ‘Qurbat’. Similarly, millennial actor Sanjana Sanghi walked the ramp for ace couturier Anju Modi’ for the showcase of her latest collection called ‘Fluid Algorithm’. Bollywood’s beautiful singing bird, Tara Sutaria also made an appearance during fashion as she walked the runway for the designer, ‘Mahima Mahajan’.

The newest Bollywood bride Parineeti Chopra made an appearance at fashion week dressed in a silver hued embroidery laden saree teamed with a cape that followed her like a train. She teamed the look with a minimal smokey makeup, her signature pink ‘chooda’, a standout ‘sindoor’ and layered necklaces, earrings and rings adorning her hands.

Sanjana Sanghi looked like a dream dressed in a signature piece from designer Anju Modi’s collection. The ‘Dhak Dhak’ actor donned a Indian handloom silhouette enriched and handicraft rich ‘lehenga choli’ piece. Her ‘dupatta drape’ was worn over her head. Her lehenga and blouse had ancient Indian paintings inspired embroidery and ‘tree of life’ motifs that she found meaningful resonance with.
