Direction And Design Of The Bedroom
According to Vastu Shastra, the bedroom should either be in the South or West direction of the house, and doors must open in the East, West or North. It is believed that these directions will attract positivity into the house. West is appropriate for designing kids’ bedrooms.

Sleeping Position
Not just the design, colours, and elements affect the energy of the bedroom but also the direction in which you sleep. According to our Vastu Expert, you should sleep with your head either in the East or South.

According to Vastu Shastra, a mirror is among the adornments that can influence the aura of any space. It is suggested to install it at least 4-5 inches above the ground. You should also make sure to not place two mirrors opposite to each other.
For hanging the mirror, you should pick a wall in the West, East, and North. South, southwest, and southeast are considered inauspicious for installing a mirror. You should avoid placing a mirror right in front of the bedroom of your children.
Decoration Of The Bedroom
Depending on the paintings and idols you want to decorate your bedroom with, they can influence the energy of the space. Therefore, you should always hang beautiful paintings or keep auspicious idols in the bedroom so that they can attract positive energy.
You should avoid placing any painting or an element that depicts a war zone or a symbol of violence and struggles. The Vastu Expert suggested keeping a pair of Sarus cranes in your bedroom. The bird is considered auspicious, especially for married life. It is believed to influence the bond between partners and bless them with strong equations.
You should avoid keeping electronic items and gadgets in the bedroom. This way, you can minimise their use, reduce stress in the environment, and live happily.
