How To Make Flaxseed Rotis?
- Grind flaxseeds in a grinder till you get a fine, ground consistency. Keep aside.
- In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, ground flaxseeds, salt to taste and a tbsp of ghee.
- Keep adding water gradually to the dry ingredients to knead a soft dough.
- Once you have kneaded the dough, cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
- Next, divide the dough into small, equal-sized portions.
- Begin rolling out the rotis using a rolling pin.
- Place a non-stick tawa and start cooking the thin, round rotis.
- Start cooking the roti. Flip and cook the other side till it puffs up and has golden brown spots.
- When properly cooked, take off the flame, brush with some ghee, and enjoy hot with your favourite curry or vegetable.
