Nowadays, several women suffer from Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a condition in which the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of androgens, male sex hormones that are usually present in women in small amounts. This leads to the production of small cysts (fluid-filled sacs) in the ovaries.

PCOS can lead to hormonal imbalances in the body which disrupts the flow of periods, causes unwanted hair on the face, and affects weight and women's fertility.

Many experts believe that a healthy diet routine and suitable lifestyle play a major role in helping to manage it.
